Nothing is re-encoded on the way. TeleLink fetches the file Telegram is holding and sends it back into your chat, so a 1080p clip stays 1080p and keeps its own filename.

Why bot downloaders stop at short clips
A bot reaches Telegram through the Bot API, and the Bot API will not hand over a file larger than 20 MB. That is Telegram's rule, not the bot's, and it is why so many downloader tools work on a clip and fail on the full video.
TeleLink never asks the Bot API for your files. It signs in as your account and fetches them the way your own phone does, which is what lets a long video through.

Save a video in three steps
Copy the link of the message the video is in: long-press it on your phone or right-click it on desktop, then choose “Copy Link”.
Send that link to the bot, or type dl followed by the link in any chat you like — the video comes back into the chat you typed it in.

Is there a size limit on videos?
Not from TeleLink. Your own Telegram account sets the ceiling: 2 GB on a free account, 4 GB per file with Premium.
Can I download a video from a private channel?
Yes, as long as the account you connected is a member of that channel. TeleLink reaches exactly what your account can reach.
What about view-once or disappearing videos?
If your account can open the message, TeleLink can save it. View-once videos come back to you as ordinary files you can keep.
