Telegram stories vanish after 24 hours. TeleLink saves one into your chat as an ordinary file, so a story you can still see is a story you can keep.
A story link looks different
Story links carry an /s/ in them, like t.me/username/s/5. Send one to the bot, or type dl followed by it in any chat, and the story comes back the same way a photo or a video does.
There is nothing extra to learn: the same command that saves a post saves a story.

A photo story or a video story, saved at the quality it was posted in.

It lands in your chat as a message you can save, forward or delete — not as something with a timer on it.
Before it expires
Save it while the story is still up. Once Telegram removes it, there is nothing left to fetch.
Which stories you can reach
The same rule as everywhere else in TeleLink: it reaches exactly what your account can reach. If you can open the story in Telegram, you can save it here.
If a story is not showing for you, that is Telegram's answer rather than TeleLink's — the account you connected cannot see it, so there is nothing to download.
The rest of what disappears
Stories are not the only media with a clock on it. View-once photos and videos, and messages that delete themselves, download the same way.
If your account can open the message, TeleLink can save it — and what comes back is an ordinary file with no timer attached.

How do I download a Telegram story?
Copy the story's link — it looks like t.me/username/s/5 — then send it to the bot, or type dl followed by it in any chat. The story comes back into that chat as a normal file.
Can I download a story after it expires?
No. Telegram removes expired stories from its servers, so there is nothing left for anyone to fetch. Save the story while it is still up.
Can I download a story from a private account?
If that account lets you see its stories, you can save them. TeleLink reaches exactly what your own account can reach — nothing more.
Do stories come back as photos and videos?
Yes. A photo story arrives as a photo and a video story as a video, at the quality it was posted in, and the copy in your chat has no expiry on it.
