How to download from Telegram, step by step
Everything on this page happens inside Telegram. You only need it once. The bot guides you through every step as you go.
Connect your account (first time only)
TeleLink downloads using your own account, so it asks you to connect once. The whole setup takes about a minute.
Open the bot and press Start.
Read the short consent note, then press Agree.
Enter your phone number in international format, for example +66812345678. Asian phone numbers only.
Tap the 5–6 digit code Telegram sends into the keypad the bot shows you, and enter your two-step password if you have one.
You'll see “Connected.” together with a list of what the bot can do.

“Your session is stored on a cloud server. Only you can access it. No one else can see or use your account through this bot.”
You can disconnect and reconnect at any time with /start. Never share your verification code, not even with “support”.

Download from a private chat (DM)
Private chats don't have shareable links, so TeleLink searches your own chats instead.
- 1Type /download. The bot replies: “Which private chat? ({'@'}username or name)”.
- 2Send the person's {'@'}username, or their name as it appears in your chats.
- 3Pick the right chat from the results and choose the media you want to save.
Download from groups, channels & stories
Any chat with a link works. Send the link to the bot, or type dl and paste it in any chat to have the files come back there instead. Open the group or post, press “Share”, then “Copy link”; or copy the address from the top of a public chat.

You must be a member of that group or channel to access its content. The bot can only reach what your account can.
Where to type it
Make a private group with nobody else in it, then paste the command there. Everything you download lands in one place — easy to find, and easy to clear when you're done. Saved Messages stays for your own saves.
Albums: one file or the whole set
For an album link, the bot asks how much you want: “Single file”, or “All from album” to save everything in one go.
Disappearing & view-once media
If you can open a message, TeleLink can save it, including view-once photos and videos. They arrive back in your chat as a normal file you can keep.
Download tips
For fast download speed, connect a Telegram Premium account first — downloads run faster on Premium accounts.
Don't try to send spam links. Send one link at a time and wait — once the download finishes, the file comes straight back to your chat.
Some files may take time to download. It depends on the file size and on whether your account is Premium or not.

Something not working?
Telegram says my code is wrong
Codes are 5 or 6 digits and expire quickly. Request a fresh one. If the keypad disappears, send /start and begin again.
The bot can't fetch a link
You must be a member of that group or channel with the account you connected. Join it first, then send the link again.
It asks for a password I don't remember
That's your Telegram two-step verification password, not something the bot created. Reset it in Telegram under Settings → Privacy and Security.
The bot replies “Something went wrong.”
Usually a temporary Telegram hiccup. Send /cancel, wait a moment, then try the download again.
My session ended by itself
Telegram ends idle sessions from time to time. Just send /start to connect again. Your files are not affected.
The bot prints this same guide whenever you send /help. When in doubt, /start makes everything fresh again.
